Sundancer Cabana 17 is a beautiful stand alone home in the established Sandy Bay community of Sundancer. This very well maintained wooden, 3 bedroom home is just steps from the white sand beach, nearby restaurants, and the community pool.

New Thrilling Excursion in Roatan
Detour Roatan now offers the latest thrill that Roatan has to offer: the new extreme Zuperman Zipline at the South Shore Adventure Park.
Zuperman Zip provides the Superman ride of a lifetime and is the only experience like it on Roatan. Their special harness lets you fly through the air just like a bird, in complete safety. Fly an exhilarating 1500 feet toward the sea at incredible speed, and then click into the second zip line for another 1350-foot-long spree. Once you catch your breath, a jungle bus will take you back to their lofty concession stand, shaded lookout post, gift shop, and bathrooms.
There are 2 zip stations so 2 people can fly at the same time. A guide is provided if you need one, or suit up and go solo. The harness is specially designed to fly in the Superman position with a weight limit of 250lbs max and 110lbs minimum.
Pre-Retirement Investing in Roatan
Rhode Island residents Phil and Linda bought their Roatan dream home in June of this year. Theirs is part of the Sundancer Cabanas community in Sandy Bay, a quiet retreat on Roatan’s northern shore (highlighted at the beginning of this newsletter).
“We are both pre-retirement and for a few years will just be vacationing two weeks a year,” Phil says. “Can’t wait for when we can spend more time in Roatan!”
Phil and Linda jumped right into Roatan life with both feet. “We are relative newcomers to the Caribbean experience,” says Phil. “We visited Caye Caulker, Belize, in February and loved it, and decided to take a look at Roatan in May.
“Roatan is a beautiful place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in West End and thought the Sundancer location nearby, plus its amenities, were outstanding when we were shown the property. We enjoyed snorkeling in Half Moon Bay on our visit, so the idea of being able to take a short walk from the house to the community pier and swim out to explore the reef is perfect.
“The sheer beauty of the island is astounding,” Phil continues, “and its size and diversity mean that we will always have plenty to do.”
Sundancer Cabana 17 is just a short cab ride away from popular West End, although you wouldn’t have to leave the property much at all. You can relax enjoying the pool and sunsets from the dock, snorkeling over the reef, and grilling up some local fish for dinner each night.
“We love the beauty and have a sense that we will enjoy our time on Roatan,” says Phil. “Leaving it will always be the tough part.”
