Ultimate Beachfront home w/ Pool, Paddleboards, Private Dock
Serenity Beach House
The home was beautiful, however if access to the water including paddle boarding, kayaking and similar activities is of interest, I couldn’t recommend it more. We enjoyed being able to walk out the back door and into the water. When you exit the small community there’s a small market across the street. Everything else was within a few minutes drive or a water taxi.

Gecko Getaway is a fabulous island retreat nestled in a Spanish colonial style courtyard amongst a friendly community of both short- & long-term visitors that come to enjoy Roatan. It is quaint, peaceful, yet it is only steps away from great restaurants and spectacular Westbay beach. In addition to modern amenities & décor, it also has a common area on the rooftop where we often watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets. There is also a plunge pool to cool off after a long hot day at the beach!
Tanja & Vinny (owners) are very engaged with their guests, holding themselves to a very high standard of customer care. Likewise, their property management company (Roatan Vacation Rentals) is equally responsive to all of our needs during our 4 months stay. This is our third winter staying in this beautiful unit, we are treated like family and Gecko Getaway feels like home.
