Checking in From Roatan

What a difference one month makes. When we last emailed you, it was to show off the new flights coming to Roatan and all the fun activities you can do here. This month is obviously different, so we’ll get straight into our update. 
 

We hope you and your loved ones are safe during this trying time.

An Island Update

To date, there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the island. The government is enforcing very strict rules to keep us safe, which we are all complying with for the sake of our community.

Roatan Vacation Rentals staff continue working during this time. But we are taking precautions by working in multiple shifts and in different locations all while keeping the office and phone lines open to help our guests and homeowners.

The island is quiet. But it will not be this way forever.
 

We hope that you’re missing the beauty and the warmth of Roatan. We hope that you’ll come back as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Gift cards can be purchased in any amount (minimum of $400) and the value never expires. The gift card can only be applied to bookings of 28 days or less (no long term rentals, sorry) made directly with Roatan Vacation Rentals (not third party websites like HomeAway or Airbnb, etc).

These gift cards apply to short-term vacation rentals only — not excursions or other expenses. If we can share any discounts or similar updates from local vendors in the future, we will be sure to do so.

COVID 19 Travel Cancellation policy for 2020

For bookings made and to take place from April 1st, 2020, until December 18th, 2020, our policy will allow for cancellation up to 48 hours prior to arrival. The rental amount paid can be used as a credit for a future rental for any dates in 2021 (rate changes for future dates would apply on 2021 re-bookings).
