I’m not sure what was more amazing
The location of the house right on the small bay with killer sunsets you can watch from the upper balcony each night – or the house itself. Each of the bedrooms has a full bath, the common space is spacious enough for a group but cosy enough for good conversation. The kitchen is so well-equipped we felt bad that we weren’t cooking. There is a lovely plunge pool on the terrace so you can cool off anytime. We were welcomed warmly by the staff, checked in on daily and had no difficulty managing airport transfers and local logistics. There are a couple of restaurants within steps of the house and easy access to taxis and local shops within a five minute walk. I’d go back right now if I could.

Juticalpa Water Project
Roatan is home to many small communities and with the island’s growing population, community water has become a challenge for many. It is great to see this project launched which will provide access to fresh water for one of the island’s less developed communities.
The Rotary Club of Roatan recently inaugurated the Juticalpa Water Project. 150 households, and 750 residents of the community now have access to water for their homes! The Rotary Club of Roatan is the only officially chartered club by Rotary International to serve the communities on the Bay Islands and for 13 years, it has been doing Service Above Self!
