What a great start to the year we have had, and we hope you have had the same. May is normally a slower month with visitor numbers but it is also the time we prepare with lots of bookings for June & July and further afield into high season next year. Casa Palmera
Absolutely fabulous place to stay.
Everything is new and super clean. Comfy beds; everything you need in the kitchen to make meals. We went with family and rented both houses. We had a car and it was easy to get to everyplace on the island. It was great to have the pool and the beautiful outdoor hangout space – especially at night with the perfect ambiance lighting! The beach is right there – quiet and not touristy – with amazing snorkeling right out the door. Easy walk on the beach to Blue Island Dive shop – or have them pick you up on the pier. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!! Five Stars!!

Casa Palmera
Sandy Bay
Less than 1 minute to the white sand! Casa Palmera is a new 2 Bedroom beach cottage with a pool shared with one other identical home (Casa Coral). Located in the Tropicana community of Sandy Bay Roatan.
The units are beautiful and professionally decorated. The main floor is open concept with a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and powder bath. We even have a washer and dryer for your convenience. The screened-in covered porch overlooks the pool and has a dining table for 8.
As you move upstairs you will find two bedrooms with ensuite baths. The primary bedroom has vaulted ceilings, double vanity, a walk-in shower, and a private balcony. Bedroom number 2 features a bonus sleeping area with a queen and then a set of bunk beds as well as an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and another double vanity.
The shared pool and deck area features a large freshwater pool with tropical hardwood trees and a nice Weber BBQ. Another relaxation station is to head out to the communities private pier to watch the sunset or go for a swim from the white sand beach. It is a snorkeling paradise just offshore.
The homes are professionally managed and our concierge is ready to help with activities (private masseuse, chef, island tour, diving, snorkeling, fishing, and more).

We are already getting ready for the 24th Edition of the Roatan International Fishing Tournament. As Roatan’s leading annual event, this is a great community event and the perfect time to visit Roatan to enjoy and experience all the events activities.

Educa Roatan was launched recently in Roatan, a program that aims to provide 5,500 laptops to local school students. The One Laptop per Child program has been implemented in the Caribbean region. However, Roatan becomes the first digital island of Honduras with the support of UNICEF. The educational transformation in Roatan has started.
We believe in an education based on new ways of teaching and learning and that is why this one-on-one model ensures that all children, teachers and families on the island receive better opportunities through technology and quality learning.
