Roatan Animal Welfare

Roatan Animal Welfare (RAW) is an official NGO here in Roatan. RAW runs free clinics twice a year on the island, focusing on spaying, neutering, and general consultations. The clinics last two days with an average of 70 surgeries and 150 consultations per day.

During these clinics, the focus is on low-income pet owners so they get the support they need to best care for their pets.

If you want to support this amazing work RAW does for our island community, we have a few options:

The Music Festival for the Angels is coming up

A huge part of travel is getting to know the local community. We talk about the natural beauty and stunning coral reefs in Roatan, but it’s the amazing people who truly make this island what it is.

The Music Festival for the Angels is just one annual fundraising event that our community absolutely adores. It’s coming up soon, so mark your calendars for March 10, 2018.

While you’re sure to love the event itself, the purpose of this musical gathering is to raise funds for two very worthy charitable organizations: The SOL Foundation and Clinica Esperanza.

We at Roatan Vacation Rentals love to support community endeavors. The SOL Foundation and Clinica Esperanza are two of our favorite local organizations; we strongly encourage all our staff, friends, and visitors to Roatan to support the incredible work of these two groups.
