The Rotary Club of Roatan was chartered on April 30, 2010, as part of Rotary International, a global humanitarian organization in 166 countries, with over 31,000 clubs and 1.2 million members.

The Rotary Club of Roatan meets every Thursday at 6 PM in Pineapple Villas, which donates the meeting space. The club is active in supporting public education, healthcare, the fire department, and assisting the elderly in Roatan.

Last year the Rotary Club of Roatan raised and disbursed $67,000 for projects on the island. If you would like to contribute to their work, you can attend a Rotary Club fundraising event like the annual Christmas Gala – coming up on December 15th. The club also welcomes visitors to their meetings, especially visiting Rotarians.
