International travel in 2021 can be tricky – so we’re sharing the information you need to make it as smooth as possible. Please feel free to share this information with fellow Roatan travellers using the links below.
During your stay in Roatan, you’ll notice certain safety protocols that are in effect in public spaces. These include the use of face masks, no-contact thermometers and hand sanitizer. Masks are not required at the beach so no need to worry about any weird tan lines!
The User Guide for Honduran Immigration has the information to help you fill out those pesky pre-travel forms. The Roatan Airline Schedule includes the confirmed flights to the island. It started in one woman’s kitchen…
After 14 years of coordinating volunteer medical and dental mission teams to Honduras, in 2001 Ms. Peggy relocated to the island of Roatan. Being acutely aware of the critical need for quality health services, she began her journey to improve the healthcare of her surrounding community and Clinica Esperanza was born. Now, Nurse Peggy’s dream has grown into a 4,500-sq-ft clinic on Roatan. Clinica Esperanza has become the primary medical provider for hundreds of island families and tourists.
Clinica Esperanza provides low/no-cost medical care to the people of Roatan. Patients can receive services from their walk-in medical clinic, women’s health center, pediatric, adult, and dental clinics with support from their laboratory and pharmacy. The clinic also provides community health education programs.
